Sometimes, decorating a booth space at an antique mall is much fun as decorating your house. The only sad thing is seeing how cool the set-up looks and wishing you could take it all back home with you and re-do the house. Unfortunately, hubby won’t let me do that. But if you love chippy-paint antique tables, antique wood, and a primitive look, then you’ll understand how I feel about this:

I love the look of the antlers by the insides of an antique piano. Even more amazing, the old newspaper adhered to the top of the old one-drawer wooden farm house table has the word “pianos” front and center!

We brought a lot of cool stuff in with us today, working at Exit 55 Antiques (Fergus Falls, MN). We’ll be posting more photos at our Facebook page, so “like” and follow us there to see them all.

An imperfect vintage circus-themed nursery wall decoration, a Dolly Toy Co. nursery Pin-Up, recently sold in our Etsy shop — and the buyer was cool enough to send us a photo of how it was put to use for her daughter’s birthday party!

(We aren’t certain who touched-up the elephant’s foot, but the fancy lettering was done by Lindsay Letters.)

We are very proud to have been a small (but fabulous!) part of this little girl’s birthday celebration!

Here’s a couple of photos I promised you of the new case we moved into at Antiques On Second in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We are sharing the case with my folks, No Egrets Antiques. If you want to see more of the primitive antiques and vintage collectibles, look for case number 95, located on the third floor. Just step off the elevator, turn to your right, and you’ll see it just across from the wrap desk with the helpful staff. (Today, Bethany was working up there — turns out, she’s originally from North Dakota! What a hoot!) More photos will be shared on our Facebook page. Right now, I’m off to do some more antiquing in Wisconsin before I leave for Fargo tomorrow morning. *wink*

Tomorrow, I, the wifey, will be driving to Wisconsin with a van (nearly) full of antiques & vintage collectibles. The first few days I will be helping my parents, No Egrets Antiques, with an estate sale they are managing. Then on the 15th, we will be starting selling at our latest antique mall, Antiques on Second in Milwaukee! (All this less than two weeks after our recent buying trip in Wisconsin — no wonder we haven’t been posting much!)

I will post photos once we are moved in and it’s official. Meanwhile, take a look at the new-to-you old items in our Etsy shop!
